Savannah River Slingshot Shootout 2025

The SAVANNAH RIVER SLINGSHOT SHOOTOUT will be held October 3,4,5th 2025 at 1240 Gregg Shoals Rd, Iva, SC. There will be primitive camping on site (with water and porta pottys). camp grounds and motels in nearby Hartwell Ga. Vendors are welcome. The grounds will be open to the public at 1:00pm Friday Oct. 3rd to set up camp, vendors booths, and shoot the practice range. There will be a meet and greet Friday night at 7:00pm. All competitive shooting will start Saturday morning at 9:00am and conclude Sunday morning at 11:00am followed by an awards ceremony at 12:00 noon. There will be knockdown targets, speed rounds, a woods walk, an Ironman course, a long distance gong, and a coon shoot (Saturday night after dark). Bring your own ammo to shoot the competitive rounds, ammo will be provided on the practice range. No steel ammo larger than 7/16, no lead ammo. A meal will be provided Friday and Saturday evenings. This event is being held on a beautiful wooded property near Lake Russell, boat ramps, and several nearby camp grounds. It will be a fantastic weekend getaway for the entire family! Entry Fees: Adults $45.00, Youth (12-18) $20.00, 11 and under free. This includes entry fees to shoot and two meals (Friday night and Saturday night). Lunch will be available Saturday for a small fee. The Ironman course is a separate (stand alone) event. Participation is voluntary. The Ironman course will be a 10 target woods walk with much more challenging targets, $10.00 to enter, the winner takes the pot.
